Hi, I'm Dane. I started my professional career in live events in Cape Town back in 2016, working with a top technical production company to deliver some of the city's most iconic brand experiences and live music gigs. I immediately loved the energy, the pressure, and the puzzle of making it all come together.
After building that local foundation, I spent 7 years in London, leading production on high-end corporate, cultural, and brand experiences. Now, I've returned home.
I founded Drift South Projects because I love the buzz of a high-stakes event, but I dislike the unnecessary panic that usually comes with it. My goal is simple: to bring the sharp, internationally-tested delivery standards I learned in the UK to the incredible live experiences we build here in South Africa.
I usually plug straight into your agency or brand team to run the floor. I act as the shield between your creative vision, the stakeholders, and the suppliers - keeping the noise down, the budgets tight, and the site completely calm when the doors are about to open.
What it actually looks like to work together
